Applications: make a list of the five best films you've seen in the last year or so, ranked from one to five. What are your criteria for evaluating a film- that is what makes a film "good"? Do you think certain criteria should be generally accepted, or are such things a matter of opinion and perusal taste? Compare your list with those of your classmates to see weather there is any agreement on which we're the best films.
Movies:
1. The way back
2. Somewhere in queens
3. A nights tale
4. Penut butter falcon
5. Brittnay runs a marathon
The criteria used to make a film good is the interrelationships between the characters and the nature of drama used in reaction shots juxtaposed to the action and plot narratives. For instatance the remdive quality in the basketball coaches life story enables us to see deeper into the theme of redemption used in the plot device in "the way back". As seen in the film "somewhere in queens" a father seeking to give a better life for his son is the thematic expose used to illustrate subplots of dramas between characters and dialogs. Culminating with a beautiful poem by the son "ain't gonna be no rematch. Such things such as plot devices that connect to the nature of diolauge and drama that expose the theme of a story is the basis I personally use to rank the quality of films. It is a matter of perception and personal taste as to the genre of film you like to see on the screen. For example the postmodern impact on film gave us a more arts orientated field of study that I think ultimately lead to different subgenres in plot devices and tones the image represents. As illusory as following a donkey through his lifetime may seem its the aesthetic judgment of a hard life for a donkey that makes this movie "EO" appealing to art critics. As taste shapes various modes of shaping identity and thought all together, as Jesus said in his sermon on the mount blessed be the poor in spirit for theirs shall be the kingdom of heaven. As recent knowledge uncovers truths and the temperance that knowledge needs, recently by attending a virtual congressional church enlightened us to the facr that the current pope acknowledged the existence of pets whom go to heaven. Which is the reason I used to see that the life of a struggling donkey can be used as a subplot of this as many people who own pets, would very much like to exist with them in the hereafter. I havent gotten the chance to review my list with my peers as I couldn't find any contemporaries with whom to communicate during the duration of this assignment, please excuse this part of the missing assignment.
The film "Emily was rather good because of the basis I found to use an aesthetic judgement upon it was the classic novel wuthering heights that was in focus. The Christianthinker whom idea it was to use classic literature as a basis for using everything secular to give us biblical truths was the enlightening aspect and lense I decided to use to view this movie through. The video trailer on YouTube that had classical music and was titled "music to write by: Emily" gave us further hope for the creative endeavors our artist was soon to explore. A value judgment can be used to infer somebody listening to this can use the inspiration to harness their own art/Creativity.
